Description of art: “PURGATORIUM (aka A Walk in the Clouds)”- is an original landscape created by American Artist Leigh Trifari. This large painting is rendered in acrylics over a randomly applied gesso base, which gives the appearance of an antique oil painting (a Trifari trademark!) The vista is imaginary but is reminiscent of both Leigh’s former home in New York State’s Hudson River Valley and the UK Lake District. This painting comes UNFRAMED, and the artwork continues around the edges of the wrapped canvas for a finished 3-dimensional effect. Suitable for libraries and other main focal areas of the home.
