Name of Artist: Sarah Bowden

Description of art: Growing up on the coast meant that my holidays were filled with fun, running on shingle and splashing in the sea. My mum would often butter some bread and buy chips for us to make chip butties! This piece of art is a tribute to those salty, sunny childhood days. The pebbles are made from clay and I painted them the colour of the sky I often see when heading home after visiting my family. They sit on a background of cool blue waves
